Rosina Ahmed (Chairperson)

Dr. Rosina Ahmed is a Senior Consultant Surgeon at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata, specializing in breast surgery. Trained in the UK, she earned her MD from the University of Sheffield and her FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Her research and publications focus on breast cancer and gallbladder physiology, earning her a distinction for her MD thesis.

Dalia Roy (Secretary)

Dalia Roy is a seasoned development professional with over 30 years of grassroots experience in rural Bengal, specializing in women's empowerment and child rights. A Bengali Honors graduate from the University of Calcutta, she began her journey in 1995 under the Socio-Economic Development Program (SEDP). Currently, she serves as the Director of Jeevika Development Society and leads a coalition of 14,000 women at the Swayam Sampurna Micro Finance Federation to combat gender-based violence.

Dilip Banerjee (Treasurer)

Dilip Banerjee is a social activist and Ashoka Fellow recognized for pioneering community-managed disaster relief and preparedness across the cyclone-prone region of the Sunderbans in West Bengal. He empowers these communities to take charge of disaster response through sustainable, grassroots-led models. His work has transformed disaster-prone regions by integrating resilience planning with local governance and civic participation.

Alakananda Rao (Member)

Ms Alakananda Rao is the founder and CEO of Alvari Systems. She holds a postgraduate degree from IIT Kharagpur. Ms. Rao has over 30 years of experience with organisations such as TCS, NCST (C-DAC), and NIIT. She is a certified PMP trainer who has consulted and trained in various subject areas.

Ratnaboli Roy (Member)

Ratnaboli Ray is a renowned mental health activist, Ashoka Fellow, and trained clinical psychologist. She is a leading figure in the mental health movement in India. She is the founder of Anjali, a Kolkata-based organization advocating for the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities, and a recipient of the Human Rights Watch's Alison Des Forges Award. a National Film Award for Three Sisters, a documentary on women in mental asylums.

Kasturi Roychoudhury (Member)

Kasturi Roy Choudhury is the COO of Jupiter International Limited, brings over 25 years of expertise in building and nurturing organizations. Her 'People First' approach drives the company’s collaborative culture and operational excellence. She holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University.

Malini Mukherjee (Member)

Malini Mukherjee is an education consultant, content developer, and teacher trainer with 23 years of experience across schools, NGOs, INGOs, and universities in India and seven countries. She has led quality improvement programs, designed skill-based curricula, and worked on CSR initiatives with UNICEF, Wipro, DELL, and Intel. A passionate educator and founder of Uraan, she promotes 21st-century learning through storytelling, theatre, and life skills education.
