"Before joining the women’s group formed with the support of Jeevika Development Society, most of my time was limited to household responsibilities, and I rarely spoke during village meetings or community discussions. After becoming a member of the women’s group and participating in leadership training sessions, I gradually gained the confidence to express my opinions and ideas.

Today, I actively participate in community discussions, support other women who are facing challenges, and help organize group meetings in our area. Earlier, I was afraid to speak in front of others, but now people from the village approach me for advice and support. Through this journey, I have realized that women have both the right and the ability to lead and contribute to positive change in their communities."

“জীবিকা ডেভেলপমেন্ট সোসাইটির সহায়তায় গঠিত মহিলা দলে যুক্ত হওয়ার আগে আমি বেশিরভাগ সময় সংসারের কাজের মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ থাকতাম এবং গ্রামের সভা বা আলোচনায় খুব কম কথা বলতাম। মহিলা দলে যুক্ত হওয়ার পর এবং নেতৃত্ব বিষয়ক প্রশিক্ষণ পাওয়ার মাধ্যমে ধীরে ধীরে নিজের মতামত প্রকাশ করার আত্মবিশ্বাস তৈরি হয়। এখন আমি গ্রামের বিভিন্ন আলোচনায় অংশ নিই, সমস্যায় থাকা অন্যান্য মহিলাদের পাশে দাঁড়াই এবং আমাদের এলাকার দলীয় সভা সংগঠিত করতেও সাহায্য করি। আগে সবার সামনে কথা বলতে ভয় লাগত, কিন্তু এখন গ্রামের মানুষ পরামর্শ ও সহায়তার জন্য আমার কাছে আসে। এই পথচলার মাধ্যমে আমি বুঝতে পেরেছি, মহিলাদেরও নেতৃত্ব দেওয়ার অধিকার ও ক্ষমতা রয়েছে।"

"With the support of Jeevika Development Society, I have gained a new perspective on women’s rights and gender equality. Earlier, most decisions within our family were made only by the male members, but now my opinions are also valued and considered.

Through regular meetings and discussions, I have learned about legal rights, personal safety, and the importance of women’s participation in society. Today, I encourage adolescent girls and women in my village to continue their education, speak out against injustice and violence, and become self-reliant. I feel proud to be part of a positive change in my community and to inspire others to believe in their own strength and potential."

“জীবিকা ডেভেলপমেন্ট সোসাইটির সহায়তায় আমি মহিলাদের অধিকার ও নারী-পুরুষ সমতার বিষয়ে নতুনভাবে ভাবার সুযোগ পেয়েছি। আগে আমাদের পরিবারে বেশিরভাগ সিদ্ধান্ত শুধুমাত্র পুরুষ সদস্যরাই নিতেন, কিন্তু এখন আমার মতামতকেও গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়। নিয়মিত সভা ও আলোচনার মাধ্যমে আমি আইনি অধিকার, নিরাপত্তা এবং সমাজে মহিলাদের অংশগ্রহণের গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে জানতে পেরেছি। এখন আমি গ্রামের কিশোরী ও মহিলাদের পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যেতে, অন্যায় ও সহিংসতার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলতে এবং স্বনির্ভর হতে উৎসাহ দিই। আমি গর্বিত যে আমি আমার সমাজে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তনের অংশ হতে পেরেছি।”
